Ceramic Goddess with a pale ivory ground all hand-painted. The tangerine sunny face of the goddess has a black snake curved around her with another at the base of the piece and a vital and joyful tangerine circle at the centre. The back of the piece has another paler hand-painted snake heading up to the gold crown too. The metal leaf 23 ct gold crown has radiating impressions leaves and sunbursts spreading around and up to the protective symbol of the hand and eye, bringing strength and power. The back of the crown is smooth.
